I specialize in facilitation of the following areas of film production:

Film Tax Incentive
The Georgia Entertainment Industry Investment Act grants an income tax credit of 20% to qualified productions which include feature films, television movies or series, documentaries, commercials and music videos. Most projects are also eligible to receive an additional 10% Georgia Entertainment Promotion (GEP) tax credit for including an embedded Georgia Entertainment Promotion Logo in the end credits of the finished product. Hunter & Associates is your one stop-shop to help oversee this process with getting your production registered to take advantage of the film credit tax incentive.

Permitting Process for City of Atlanta and surrounding areas
With Georgia being ranked #1 in film locations, the door is always revolving with productions filming in the City of Atlanta and surrounding areas. To obtain a permit, there are many components a production must cross off before the final approval. Hunter and Associates will facilitate all the heavy lifting to ensure production can move around effortlessly to obtain the “shot”.

Government Agencies
Government Agencies play an intricate part with productions being able to move around in their municipalities when it comes to filming. Knowing the right agencies to go to for approval is a crucial part with time management when requesting a film permit. Hunter & Associates has built trusting and professional relationships with those in charge of making final decisions when it comes to productions wanting to do simple or complex filming scenes.

Locations – Private and Public
Securing a location is the most important component in making a film. Hunter & Associates are expertise when it comes to securing a location regardless of it being private property, public property, filming on the interstates or doing a major road closure our years of experience will always get the production a yes. While we know that the process can sometimes be tedious; it is our details in knowing what it takes to lock down a location that benefits all involved.

Set-up Film Commission Offices
Having a film commission office is an attractive incentive for engaging productions to film in your city. This is a welcoming gesture to let productions know that you are a film friendly community. It also lets your community know that you have goals of bringing economic development to your city. Hunters and Associates, an AFCI Member Film Commission help build the City of Atlanta film office from ground up by working with Atlanta City Council to put a film ordinance into place, Atlanta Work Source Development on creating a PA program, partnering with Invest Atlanta to create a fund for creatives to greenlight their projects and being the first city in the US to partner up with a permitting software that has proven to be one of the best investments made in spearheading the permitting process. We are here to help aide in this process from being to end.
